Routinery just got its biggest update ever
This is the largest update since Routinery launched. Profile, settings, guide, and Explore — screens across the entire app have been redesigned from the ground up with new illustrations and a completely reworked layout. This isn't a cosmetic refresh. It's a rethinking of how the app feels to use.
Everything is easier to find, and every screen feels more comfortable to navigate.
Why this change, why now
Routinery has been a great app for running morning routines. But your day doesn't end with your morning routine.
What Routinery truly wants to help with is not just mornings, but your entire day. Routines, one-off tasks, everything managed in one place. When you open the app, you see everything you need to do today and move through it one step at a time.
This update is the first step in that direction. To grow Routinery from a "routine timer" into an app that walks with you through your whole day, we started by rebuilding the foundation.
Standalone Tasks are here!
Your day has routines that repeat, but it also has things you just need to do once. Picking up a package, a doctor's appointment, grabbing groceries — these don't need a full routine.
Now you can create a standalone task right inside Routinery. Set a reminder so nothing slips through the cracks, assign a start time so it appears in your daily timeline, and check it off when it's done. No timer, no routine group — just a simple check.
Routines and tasks, all in one place. Priority levels, project folders, and complicated repeat rules were left out on purpose. Routinery isn't about organizing tasks — it's about actually doing them. One check is all it takes.
