  • I'm not getting push notifications (Android 10 or later)Android

    1. Please ensure that Apps > Routinery > Notifications are properly allowed in Settings. 2. Ensure Do Not Disturb is turned off. 3. Go to Settings > Device Care > Battery > App Power Management or Settings (the name may be slightly different) > Power Saver and delete any root apps. 4. Turn off Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Data Saver (or Power Saver). 5. Go to Settings > Apps > Three-dot menu button > Special access > Optimize battery usage > Select All in the top tab, find and disable Routinery. 6. Turn off automatic power saving mode in Settings > Device Care > Battery > Battery management mode. 7. If step 6 didn't work, enable online backup to keep your routines safe, then uninstall and reinstall the app. If you've gone through all of these steps and still haven't received a notification, you can try refreshing and rebooting your system. 1. Restart your device by holding the volume down button and power button for 10 seconds. 2. Go to Apps > Device Care > Three-dot menu button > Auto-optimize

If the alarm doesn't turn off after you leave the alarm screen, launching the Routine app may turn it off. If this does not resolve the issue, please email us.

  • The fixed push notification time is not updating.Android

Push notifications may not stay fixed properly due to battery optimization settings. Some devices restrict background app execution in battery-saving mode, which may prevent notifications from displaying correctly. 🔹 How to Fix: 1. Exclude from Battery Optimization - Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization or Settings > Apps > Routinery > Battery, then set the app as an exception to battery optimization. - Since the path may vary by device, look for options like "Exclude from Battery Optimization" or "Allow Background Execution" and enable them. 2. Allow Notification Permissions & Background Execution - Go to Settings > Apps > Routinery > Notifications and check that notifications are not blocked. - Enable Allow Background Execution in Settings > Apps > Routinery. Tasks with Auto Next enabled may not update their time automatically, and push notification times may not be reflected correctly. 🔹 How to Fix: - Opening the app once will update the times for auto-skipped tasks. - Open the app periodically to ensure that Auto Next is applied correctly.
